Stat Priority | Patch 2.1.2
Managing Primary (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Vitality) and Secondary (Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Attack Speed, Weapon Damage, Armor, etc.) stats is critical for maximizing your Barbarian. Below are listed the two stat priorities for both max damage and max survivability.
Max DPS
+3% Critical Hits +20% to berserker damage +35% to single-target damage +35% Close Combat Damage +25 Resist. +2 Kit Skill 45px: Predators. 65 +1 MP +57 HP +8 Initiative +15% damage for 1 random element +10% Critical Hit Damage. Wakfu Wiki is a FANDOM Games Community. Edit: On the topic of the 80% or less base-skill crit percent, I'll have to re-think on that one. The difference is the same, but the fraction is not. Edit #2: Updated the Critical VS. Attack Speed post at the bottom with the info on skills with a base Critical Chance.

DPS Stats Breakdown
Weapon Damage
Increases the damage dealt by skills. Higher top end weapon damage and a smaller damage range will produce stronger attacks.

Crit Chance
Increases the base chance of obtaining a critical hit. Crit Chance is best stacked with Crit Damage at a ratio of about 1:8. For example, if you have 10% Crit Chance then you should have +80% Crit Damage. As a note, Crit Damage is much easier to obtain than Crit Chance so you may end up with more Crit Damage than is optimal for your amount of Crit Chance.

Fire Wakfu Cras are awesome.
The End.

The End.
--
Seriously, they can be pretty darned cool. Wakfu Cras are designed to be ranged players, also known as rangers in many other games. Keep this in mind if you’re choosing a Cra. If you want to hit somebody in the face with a sword choose a different class. If you want to shoot things and have them die before they get to you, then Cras may be your cup of tea.

IV. Gearing
Wakfu Cra have 3 elements available to them: Air, Fire and Earth. Today we’re going to be focusing mainly on Fire, and that will therefore be the build we pick.
A Fire Cra excels at doing AoE damage and lots of it. We don’t have the range of some other builds (like air) but we make up for it in raw numbers when do do hit them. Fire damage is based on how much Intellect you have. Therefore logic dictates that if we want to hit them harder, we should be putting points into Intellect. The build we’re going to be discussing today is what I’m calling the Schwerer build. With this build you’re going to be a powerhouse, but if somebody gets you into melee range for very long you’re done for. This is often called the ‘glass cannon’ effect. Since you’re not supposed to get hit often though, if you play well this should work for you.
When you start leveling, You’ll have a choice to make: To Go Crit, or Not to go Crit. Landing a critical hit will give you an extra +50% dmg (150% dmg total).
If you want to go crit, start putting all your points into Critical Hit. This stat selection will mean that you hit more if you’re lucky, but will hit lower than a pure Int build if you aren’t.
If you don’t want to risk your damage on Crits, put all of your points into Intellect. With this stat selection will make your fire spells do more damage on average, but may not give you as high of numbers as a crit build. However, it will give you a more consistent damage.
Determination of which of the two stat choices isn’t clear cut, and will depend completely on your play style.
If you’re not completely sure, a good start may be to put 75 points into Intellect then start going Crit.
A Fire Wakfu Cra is powerful and has great AoE, but most of his spells have bad range compared to some other builds. To counter this, start by maxing out Heightened Vision. This will give you +3 Range and +10% Critical Hits.

Once Heightened Vision is maxed out, put 1 point into Riddling, followed by 1 point into Cra Precision. Doing this, it will enable both of this effects (be it at a small percent) but enough to make it worth it at this time.
You then have the choice of 3 things to do next:
- Maxing out Ridding: Making the enemy more likely to suffer from Riddled +2 level (lose MP & HP).
- Maxing our Cra Precision: Raising your chance to do +30% or +500% damage on hit.
- Maxing our Beacon Sneakin’: Letting you teleport further to your beacon, and at a lower cost.
The long term effects of these have yet to be determined given the time since game release, but all of them are proving impactful. Since a recent hotfix, leveling Cra Precision before Beacon Sneakin’ and Riddling will give better throughput. I suggest:
Max Heightened Vision -> 1 point Riddling -> Max Cra Precision -> Max Beacon Sneakin’ -> Max Riddling
The choice will be up you though, either way all should be maxed before 100.

Powerful shooting can also be an option to put 1 point into while leveling. However I’d suggest doing the above first, then simply maxing out powerful shooting once the other spells are complete.
Focusing on our fire spells, they’re pretty straight forward:
Focusing on our fire spells, they’re pretty straight forward:
- Blazing Arrow: Our go-to single target shot. Costs 3 AP to cast.
- Incandescent Beacon: Our beacon that reacts to getting hit by fire shots, does AoE around it when hit. Costs 1 WP to cast.
- Blinding Arrow: A shot that hits an AoE in a + design, with the lowest minimum distance of our fire spells. Costs 5 AP to cast.
- Burning Arrow: Hits targets in a line in front of you. Costs 5 AP to cast.
- Explosive Arrow: AoE shot that hits a block of 9 for significant damage. Costs 6 AP to cast.
- Unbeacon: Removes one of our beacon of choice, doing damage and -resistance mimicking the beacons target area.
- Beacon Sneakin’: Teleports you near your beacon, but destroys the beacon in the process.
While leveling, you’re going to use Blazing until you get Explosive, then use Explosive a lot. If you’re playing solo, then expect this spell to out-level your other ones. When the fight starts, throw down a Fire Beacon beside the enemy, hit it with Explosive. If the enemy is still within the beacon’s reach next time, hit it again. If not, use unbeacon then plant another beacon beside him. Hit it with Blinding Arrow if you don’t have 6AP for Explosive. If the enemy gets in your face, hit him with the splash from a Blinding until he dies (or run away).
Try to keep Blazing and Blinding up at a decent level, even if lower than your Explosive. When doing stuff in a group, it’s often best not to kill team members with AoE spells. On the same string, hitting like a wussy isn’t much better.
The only other spells you may have to use on occasion from the other elements are:
Wakfu Berserker Dmg Vs Crit 2017
- Homing arrow (Air): It has a huge range, and can be used when enemies are really really far.
- Retreat Arrow (Air): Pushes an enemy back 2 spaces. Used well, can give you the opportunity for to run from an enemy that has you locked.
- Windy Beacon (Air): Pushes enemies/allies back when in line with it. Won’t be used much, except maybe to help push something off somebody else or if you are stuck and the enemy has a wall at it’s back.
- Plaguing Arrow (Air): Doesn’t need LoS to cast. Useful for when that stupid Iop blocks your line of sight and there’s nothing else you can do.
Use your beacons. This is the easiest thing to say really. You’re able to have 1 beacon in play by default, having +Mechanical will allow you to have additional. As a Fire Cra, if an enemy is in a group plant a big ‘ol beacon beside them and blow it up. The quicker you kill somebody, the less damage they will be able to do when they get to you. With Incandescent beacon, each time you hit one of yours, any Incandescent beacons of yours in play will go off. Think of this like a chain reaction. Keep this in mind as you get more out there, killing your team is bad.
If you’re soloing you want to be able to kill stuff quick and at range to avoid getting hit. This means melee with few MP (or are stupid AI) are best. My suggestions:
Level 1-5: Kill Wodents like everybody.
Level 5-10 (~15): Kill PiWi and Bow Meow.
Level 15-20: Kill Gobballs.
Level 20-32: Farm Gobball Dungeon. Killing groups of 2-3 gobballs can also give decent exp. Scaraleaf are also an option.
Level 33-40: Mushd and Tsu Tsu in Cania Swamps (Bo). Toads in Holey Woods (A) are good as well.
Level 40-60: Still Cania Swamps or Toads. Can also Try Riktus or Treechnid.
Level 60-70: Sadida Kingdom & Kelba.
Level 75/80+ : Monk Island or Forfut.

*Right now Wild Gobballs give really high experience, making it almost worth it to level all the way to 100 on them.
If in a group, try taking on either larger mobs or smaller mobs of the next tier. Dungeons are also amazing for experience.
Keep in mind that leveling with a buddy is usually going to be quicker than trying to do stuff solo. As you get higher in level, it’s going to be harder to find mobs to solo all the time.
Another key thing to beating larger mobs will be your choice of maps. Use a choke point such as a bridge to keep your enemies at a safe distance. With stupid AI, often putting down a beacon on the only entrance to you will make them completely stop in their tracks. Use your head, you’re not an Iop.
Gearing a Fire Wakfu Cra you want the most Intellect, + Fire Damage % or +Crit%. Of course you can mix and match, but here are some suggestions for full sets. Level listed is when you’ll be able to wear all pieces of the set.
I’d recommend the following order for sets:
Level 1-5:Wodent Set
Level 5-7:Red Piwi Set
Level 7-15:Full Adventurer Set (mixed with Red GooGoo ring and breastplate)
Level 15-26:Gobball Set
Level 26-33:Scara Set
Level 34-44:Chafer Set
Level 44-46:Golden Scaraleaf Set
Level 47:Brakmarian Riktus Set, Royal Bonulet, Stalagcape
Level 58:Riktus Elite Mask
Level 72:Lunar Set
Level 75:Titanic Crown
Level 76:Featherypaulettes
Level 78:Monk Set pieces can be switched from Lunar, but will lose your AP bonus in exchange for a possible MP (if you go full Monk).
Level 93:Moowolf Set

* When around Level 50 a pure Int build may want to use the full Riktus Set, Brakmarian Riktus boots & epaulettes, The Axshe, and The Stalagcape. (Thx DivineArrow)
Note: The Prespic Set does offer a fair amount of wisdom, allowing you level quicker at lower levels. However, it’s harder to obtain than most of the other sets. For the time it would take you to get it, you can level through this phase.
When it doubt, go with more Intellect or +Fire Damage.
